About Us

Our Mission

Bright From the Start Child Development Center, LLC provides high-quality child care to families with children between the ages of 6 weeks through 12 years. Children at Bright From the Start are nurtured and supported in such a way that promotes positive self-esteem and provides the opportunity for optimal growth in all areas of development.

Our Philosophy

All children will be given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of experiences from which to grow. It is our belief that such experiences must be provided in a supportive and nurturing environment, be child oriented, be “hands-on” in approach, and allow children freedom of choice whenever possible.

Your child’s safety and environment is of utmost concern at Bright From the Start (BFTS). With this in mind all our staff is first aid and CPR certified, has had background checks, and is in compliance with the child care standards set by the State of Nebraska. The BFTS staff is highly trained and required to complete continuing education in child development and education.

Family is very important to us at BFTS as it is owned and operated by a family partnership. Jillian Yeshnowski and Megan Enger are sisters and will be on staff full-time. 

Jillian has training in Early Childhood development and education, as well as, then years of experience working with children of all ages. Jillian has worked as an assistance director for two preschools and also taught ELL for the Ralston school district. As a mother she understands the need for high-quality childcare.

Megan has her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She has worked as a registered nurse in an intensive care unit, as well as, labor and delivery. Megan has advanced training in neonatal resuscitation, pediatric advanced life support, and is trauma certified.
